We all have a cause near and dear to our hearts

If you're a quilter chances are you have made a quilt for some kind of cause or for someone in need of a comforting quilt hug to get them through the rough times. We all have a cause that is near and dear to us, whether it be Breast Cancer Awareness, a Relay for Life team, or quilts for soldiers and their loved ones.

The guild I belong to http://www.redrosequiltersguild.com/ makes quilts for the children who come to the local abuse centers. We recently began working on blocks and quilt tops for the Quilts of Valor program. http://www.qovf.org/ and have gotten the community involved by opening up to nonguild members a community workshop group.

This got me to thinking. We quilters know that quilts bring comfort to those in need of a hug to get them through a rough time in their lives. So I decided to make a list, a directory if you will, to list the sites where quilters can go to find information on quilting for a cause. If you know of any sites, would you send them my way?
