For my college bound daughter

I had to finish this as DD #3 will be off to college in a few short weeks. This pattern is one that was designed by my quilting friend Jan Krentz.

Jan's original pattern is square. Jan took off one row from each side to make it a twin sized. The quilt itself was super easy to piece and stitch together. I had it machine quilted by Nancy at Piece by Piece Quilting in Ephrata PA. She has a wonderful little shop tucked away on N State Street.

My DD school colors are red, black, white and gray.
I call this "Wild One"

My husband said the quilt is "...wild, just like Amy!" Out of our four children, she is the wild one of the bunch. Her goal in life, at age 18, is to become a psychologist or a bartender!! (Aren't they kinda the same thing??) She's a hard working girl-three jobs this summer, including working full time third shift in the Twizzler factory. At least I know she will be cozy and warm in her dorm room on the hill at Lock Haven University PA. So the "quilt for a cause" this month is cause I love her!! Good luck in college Amy!! No matter what you do with your life, I know you will strive to be the very best you can be. xxx000xxx from your Mom
